WHY JESUS IS BETTER THAN SANTA?


Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. And then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?" JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry" JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas. Jesus is still the reason for the season.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Oh my gosh, I didnt realize how long it has been since I did a update for everyone. The past few months have gone by so fast. So many exciting things are going on in my life. Nick and I are getting closer and closer everyday even though we are so far apart. I have only told a few people but I really think he is the one God meant for me to be with. He is the sweetest and most loving boyfriend. I could really see myself marring him. Yes, Im saying it and yes we have talked about it. I have never felt this kind of love before. Its almost nauseating its so sweet:) We just got to spend two weeks together which was awesome. Here we are at the fair:

Chloe is growing more and more each day. She is now six months old and getting more independant. She is now jumping on the counters and fridge, which is a definite no-no but she is so cute, its hard for me to get mad at her. Here she is and Tiger dressed in their Halloween outfits this year. I dont think Tiger is feeling good, so he has a vet appointment coming up:

Ms. Chloe fell in love with Nick and I think she misses him alot. The other night I was sending some stuff to him and she jumped in the box and was like, I'm ready to go. She was so cute, she just cried because I wouldnt let her go. I tried telling her I would miss her, but she didnt care, she would rather have him, and I cant blame her.

On another good note, Tiger likes him also. He never growled or hissed at him and even came up to him several times and let him pet him. For those who know Tiger, know that is very rare. I knew then, that Nick was a keeper. I will keep everyone informed as things progress and try not to wait so long to update my blog.

Ms. Chloe

Hello Everyone, its me Chloe. After 8 weeks, mommy has decided to let me make my debut for you all. Yesterday I turned 8 weeks old and I weigh 1.5 pounds. Yes, Im small but dont let that fool you. Im very energetic and mischievous. I like crawling and leaping from everything, but most of all I love chasing my brother, Tiger. Again, I may be small but he knows who rules the house. I jump on him, taunt him and all he does is growls and runs in the opposite direction but that does not stop me, I just look at him like he is stupid and go after him. BOYS, they really are stupid but I love messing with them, It is so much fun. When I do give Tiger his space, I find other ways to occupy my time like playing with my tail. Its pretty cool, the tip is orange and it taste good.






I do occasionlly get in trouble from mommy but I just give her the look and she cant help but pick me up and start loving on me

or I just stick my tongue out at her and make her laugh.



Either way I always get my way. Mommy says Im a good sleeper but she doesnt like my 5:30am wake up calls. I like to wake her up by pouncing on her head. She gets cranky, but I think its fun and keep doing it. Im still a baby so I need my naps. I normally take two a day for about two to three hours at a time. Mommy says this is when I am my sweetest.

I wake up ready for a new adventure.

Since we are in the process of moving, I like to help mommy. I unroll the bubble wrap for her....

I even help her take the curtains down....... my way!

Im a great helper. Well, I hope to meet all of you soon. I am sweet and gentle and will give you lots of kisses. Im complete opposite of my brother and love people. So come see me, Im waiting.......just look at me, I know you want too :)

Special Days

16 years ago, I had a special little girl help me get ready for my junior prom. Now she's growing up and experiencing her own prom. She is growing up so fast and turning into a beautiful young woman. I could not be more proud of her and it was a honor to be a part of her big day. I love you Samantha.

I'M MOVING

Well I got the news today that I got my townhome. I very excited about the move but a little scared. Most of you know that 10 years ago my neighbor tried to attack me at my apartment so I have been very scared and nervous to live around alot of people. I think this time I have picked the right place for me and it does not hurt that I have a alarm system :). I was a little disappointed I could not get hard wood floors because of the cats but was relieved I do get beige carpet and not blue. I will be moving in two weeks instead of July like I had planned so the next few weeks are going to be super busy. The only good thing about the move is the church yard sale is scheduled for June 21, so expect to get a huge donation from me.

The church yard sale will be at Main Street Baptist Church in Kernersville on Saturday, June 21
